Established in the year 1991 for the manufacture of Plano Optics, our company specializes on advanced optical components with tight tolerances and caters to the space depts and defence organisations in India. Presently our company exports 50% of its produce of Optics and are termed as one of the most reliable Plano Optics Exporters from India. Our company is basically a custom built manufacturer. Prisms India has supplied 90% of the production to Germany & USA during the last decade. Major customers are manufacturers of Defence equipment, refractometer, microscopes, binoculars, telescopes, surveying instruments, space depts, etc. The company manufactures prototype & production quantities within short time at economical rates. It has capabilities to produce Optics with less than 10 seconds tolerances (5 mm to 300 mm). Less than 5 seconds tolerances are achieved for low volume production. Production handles various types of materials ie NBK-7, Fused Silica, Zerodur, Pyrex & Other Optical glasses. Most of the optics is made by optical contacting technique. Production & quality dept is equipped with Hilger & Watts 0.2 secs dual axis Autocollimator. Prisms India has in-house capabilities to offer coated Optics - SLAR & Al Coatings. Coating plant is equipped with Electron Beam Gun. Coated Optics is qualified in Shimadzu's Spectrophotometer. Abrasion & Adhesion tests are carried out using Summers Coating Test Kit to US-Mil Stds. Surface Flatness undergoes inspection in Laser Fizeau Interferometer.
